Obedience

Hey Folks!

Today in my school the teachers were handing report cards. I have no idea how I did. I trust that all my effort given this Bimester will have its good results. I've learn to do things ahead of time. December's Holidays are getting closer and I'm already planning what is it that I'm going to do in those days. Some family from the U.S.A. will be coming to our house in December, they are missionaries who bring cloth, food, and gifts to poor children here in Honduras. Yesterday I had a very nice experience talking to some students from India via Skype and wishing them a happy "Children's day". It is quite amazing how all the world is connected! Today I want to share with you about the importance of being Obedient. Our Lord Jesus was obedient until He gave His last breath, but His award was tremendous! smile

When I was 10 years old I had to preach in my church something small. I remember I was looking a word to share, or an experience to tell when I had the bright idea of telling this people when I almost died because of being disobedient. I rembered I told the people that everything you do has a consequence, whether you do has a positive consequence or a negative consequence: The story I shared goes like this: "We went with my family to enjoy some time at a river, I remember that I couldn't swim at the time but I was still excited because we were going to swim. My dad told me not to get into deep waters because I couldn't swim, plus it was dangerous. I thought I was going to swim with no problem so I got into deep waters and, guess what, I was sinking and drowning! I felt my life was just passing by my face and believed that was my end. My oldest sister saved my life! My mom and dad talked to me and taught me that because I was disobedient I almost died. I must say that I learned this big lesson about obedience and I bet I won't ever forget it ever". I told the people that because of my disobedience I had a negative-consequence. I also told them about the perks of being obedient, and I used Jesus' example. Our Lord Jesus was super obedient, so at the end, He received a super-award! We should all be obedient to any authority, no matter what. God places authority in our life because He wants to form Obedience in our life. Obedience brings blessings to our life. You can practice obedience in your school by doing your homework, you can also practice it at work by doing what you have to do in the time your boss established, and of course you can practice it at home by following the advices your mom and dad tell you to do. Obedience requires Humbleness.  When you are obedient, it means that there is someone that has more authority than you have and this person is giving you a command. There is a command that we all have in commom that is: Love. The Bible tells us that we should love  others as God loves us. Our life-style should be based in following this precise command. I encourage you to take this challenge and have a life-style based in Obedience.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: What's obedience for you?

I hope and believe you are having a great day. I bless all of you in Jesus' name and declare that the days that will come will be fantastic. Give a hug to a friend and share God's love. Change the World.
HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Family

Shalom!

It has been a while since I wrote my last post. All of these days I've been working in some projects. Every single day I have something new to work. I must say that God has been helping me in every single thing. This Friday is the day of handing in Report Cards to our parents; I'm quite anxious. I know I did my best, so I will simply leave everything in God's hands. In the past few months I've been realizing about the importance of family. Since the beginning of the World, God worked with families, Adam and Eve were a family. The most important question to ask is: What is a family? Many people can have many definitions for family but my definition of it is: A family is where 2 or more people live together, share their stuffs, and stay together even though they might have problems. God made families because He knew that we humans need an ideal helper. Appreciate your family, God gave them to you for a reason. He knows what you need in your life. Everyday you wake up, you better thank God because you have the warm love of your family, remember not everyone enjoys what you have.
Family
Today I want to share a bit about the beautiful family God gave me. I have 3 female siblings. I am the only son! My family is characterized for being a united family. If something happens to any member or our family we all gather together and help. It doesn't matter if one of us is upset with another but if it's an emergency we just put away our dislikes and aid our family. I must say that a "family member" doesn't necessarily means someone that shares the same blood with you but it can also be a really close friend you considered he/she has been such a help and someone who you can trust. I have very close friends that I considere them as part of my family. There are many things you can enjoy doing together with your family such as doing a barbecue, watching movies with your cousins, tell folk-tales in a bonfire, etc. God wants for us to live in a complete harmony and love, He doesn't want for us to be fighting with members of our own family. You can learn so many things from your family that might not know. Talk to your Grandparents, believe me, they have many information stored in their brain that they need to release. Did you  know that a united family can, economically speaking, grow faster? My mom has a business in which all of us must participate. We have like a "mini-market" in which we have to serve the customers by giving them what they want. We don't receive a wage but we enjoy the profit of this business. I know that this business is doing well because we gave this "mini-market" to God but I also know that we are doing well because we all are working as team. Family is the base of society. It is quite important I must say, but there is something that a family member can't do for you; give you salvation. Even though your mom and dad already accepted Jesus as their Savior but if you don't accept Him by your own decision, then you won't be safe. Your family can pray for you but that won't give you the eternal life. Salvation is individual.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: Do you have a family member that ALWAYS makes you laugh?

I hope you are all doing great! Have a nice time with your family, do something special. I bless you all in Jesus' name and declare that you will have an outstanding week full of blessings.
HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Your light.

Oyasuminasai! (Means "good night" in Japanese)

Today when I woke up the weather was cold! I love the days in which I don't have school and the weather is nothing but perfect to stay on bed! In my house we have a business which is like a store so I can't stay sleeping all the day because I need to help attending the customers. I think that having this business taught me an important lesson which is sharing what you have to others. Maybe what you have inside in you is joy, then you should share your joy to those people that are desperately needing a smile. We all have something that might be useful to others. I want to share with you about the importance of "affecting" people in a positive perspective with your actions. Did you know that some people can see who are you just for having a 5 minutes conversation with you? Some people might see in you happiness while others can see in you bitterness. It all depends in what do we have in our heart. Remember that what you speak is what you have in your heart.
Zodiacal light Over Cumberland Beach

We are the light of this world. First of all, what is light? Jesus is the light! The Light is something you can't touch but you know and perceive that is there. When someone is in the middle of a dark room, he/she can't see but as soon as light turns on, this person can immediately see what surrounds him/her. There is something interesting about light that makes me think about its power and is that whenever it's shining the darkness can't resist it. Let's apply these concepts in our daily life. In order for you to have light inside of you, then you should have God in your heart. As I said before, you can't touch light but people can perceive it. This means that you don't have to tell people that you have something special, instead of it, people should know and feel there is something in you that maybe they might want. You have to reflect what is inside in you. The way you speak can tell people whether you have life inside of you or if you have death. If you believe you have a shiny light inside of you, then you should shine and illuminate the world that surrounds you because remember, you won't place a lamp under a desk but you will place where it can illuminate all over the place. Another interesting thing about light is that it takes away the blindness some people may have. Sometimes people can't see the good things that surround them because they are in a dark place where everything is not visible. You can take away people's blindness by sharing with them the good life that you are taking and by making them realize that the world that surrounds them is beautiful. A smile can drastically change someone's life. Can you imagine if we all dispose our hearts to make this planet be completely illuminated? We wouldn't have murders, rapes, hunger, thirst but peace and harmony. You can transfer your light to someone else. We have the sources to make this planet a better place to live. Let your light shine and affect the people that surrounds you. Give your coming generations the satisfaction of living in a place where love is the universal language. GOD IS LOVE. Be the light of your home, of your neighborhood, of your nation and of all the places that might have darkness.  Old Barney and the North Star

QUESTION OF THE DAY: How are you reflecting your light?

May you all have nice day! Remember to illuminate people that is going through a dark place and to all the places where darkness mught be. I know we all can make the whole world a desired place to live. I bless you in Jesus' name and declare that the following week will be full of blessings.
HAVE A GREAT DAY!

My trip to Pulhapanzak!

Hallo!

Today I have no schoool! It's time for me to rest a bit and for me to recover strengths for next bimester. I really felt this year as a Senior has more work of what I expected. Even though we must do many projects,  I can say that I've been enjoying every day because I know that I won't have my classmates in a future and most probaly I'll miss them. I have learned how to work in team. We are just 8 months away from our graduation and since now we are preparing our Farewell Party. My classmates are planning to go to "Punta Sal", it is a little island where you can go and dive, swim in its crystal waters, have a walk through all the island and where you can enjoy a delicious meal. We all are quite excited about it and we hope this project may come true. My classmates and I are saving money and trying to do activites to recollect the budget. Honduras have beautiful places where you can go and have plenty of fun. If you want to visit Honduras, I bet you will have of coming back because of its beautiful landscapes and people. God loves Honduras! We feel so blessed of being part of this beautiful country!

In this particular post, I want to share with you about a  wonderful experience I had when I was 8 years old. I went to this amazing place here in Honduras named "Pulhapanzak"! Pulhapanzak is a place where there are amazing waterfalls; there is a waterwall that is 43 meters high! When you get to the place you immediately can hear the sound of the water running everywhere. This is a place where you can enjoy some time with your family and friends. You can take food if you want and have your luch there. It is an extraordinay experience! You are among the trees, the river, and some exotic birds. There is a football-court where you can play, there are also some restaurants that offer you exquisite foods. I must say that this a place for you to relax and for you to fotget your problems. When I went there I just layed down on the ground beside the river and just listen the nature's voice. You can fall asleep very easy! It is place full of peace. If you have a list of things to do before dying then you should include coming to Honduras and going to this wonderful peace of heaven! My family loved that place, I remember that when I first went, my mom was pregnant. The doctor said that going to places like this can help a mother's pregnancy. We swam in the fresh waters that run through the river all day long! God taught me a lesson while I was there. He taught me about His peace and His grace. Just as this place can bring peace and rest to your body, God can also bring peace and rest to your body. But not only that, I also learned that we as sons and daughters of God should also bring peace to everyone that surround us. We should reflect what God is. As the Bible says, we should all be the light and the salt of this world. Sometimes you are like a candle in the middle of a dark room. But first you must the "fire" inside in you in order to shine. I do believe this trip really marked my life. We ended the trip with a Barbecue and with a desire of going back. I did enjoy my holiday that day! Honduras is a beautiful country! I hope I can transmit to you that love I have towards my country.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: Would you like to go to Pulhapanzak?

I hope you guys are having an Outstanding day full of blessings. Take a time and have a conversation with God. He has m any things to tell you. Enjoy your family! I bless you all in Jesus' name.
HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Cooking!

Voila!

Hello readers from all over the world! How are you doing? Tomorrow is Friday and I have no school! I'm quite impressed of how fast is time going; we are almost ending this year and I feel we just have started. Sometimes I look the past just to see what goals I had accomplished already and which goals I have not. I found out that I'm just missing one goal in order to complete the list I made at the begining of this year.
My country, Honduras, is going through crucial moments; we are going to select our new president quite soon. Our country has been categorized as third world country, as the country where you CAN'T live because of the extreme violence, but let me tell you that God said that Honduras will be recognized as the country where there is peace, harmony, love, and unity. But the most important thing is that all Hondurans will be save because all of them are going to recognize that Jesus Christ is the Lord. The Lord has a purpose for all of us, we just have to ask Him which is our calling and which is the reason why we were created. The only way we can have a relationship with our Creator is through the Son; Jesus Christ. The Lord won't enter our heart unless we permit Him. Let Him in, you won't regret.

Bandera e imágenes varias de Honduras

Today I want to share with you about one of my hobbies. I literally enjoy eating, I guess most of you also enjoy it, but I also like to cook. When I am at home and have nothing to do, I just go to a recipe-book and find an easy recipe to prepare. I tend to make desserts because it is something quite easy to prepare and the final product is a mouth-watering dish. My favorite dessert is the "3 Milk Cake", in Spanish we call it "Tres Leches". I feel that cooking is another way to express your feelings and a way to have a great time with your family. While I am cooking, I can me thinking of many things  such as my homework, my future, my problems, my family, etc. The best part of cooking is that you "taste" the food at all time because you have to make sure that whatever is that you are doing may have a good taste. I must say that everytime I'm doing a dish, there has to be something that I accidentally have to burn! I think that my desire to cook comes from eating-desire! I love cooking but because I know that I'm going to sit down and eat what I made. Sometimes I have to make myself dinner, so I make food just for me without taking in consideration my little sister. She has no eating-moods. In fact, making her eat her lunch takes forever! My Grandfather was a chef in a ship and he made some delicious dishes for the people that were traveling with him. Sometimes he comes to our house and prepares some food with me. He taught me some lessons I must follow in the kitchen, He told me that every Chef must keep his work-area clean and neat. He also told me about using everything without wasting. My oldest sister is also a master in cooking. She always cook exquisite dishes! You should know how to cook because one day you will be alone and your mom won't be there to prepare you your food, so you should start getting ready for that day. Never is too late! You could start by preparing your cereal, then by preparing macaroni and cheese and so on.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: Which is your favorite dish?

I hope you all are having a great day. Give a hug to the people you love. Praise God because HE is good and He is with us. I bless you all in Jesus' name.

Humbleness

Alo!

How are you doing? Today in my school there was this activity that takes place every month; we call it "Student of the Month". We praise God, listen to a preach and then receive some awards. I want to share with you about today's preach which really touched my heart. The lady who shared the word of God with us was Mrs. Iona, the Principal's wife.  She was telling us about God's desire of helping us in our burdens. She gave us some examples of situations where we can be carrying some loads that God can simply help us holding it. For example, when there is a topic that you don't understand and you have Test the next day, you can freely ask the Lord for help and knowledge; He will definitely help you. Don't stress out! You are not alone, you have someone that will be with you until you give your last breath. Whenever you feel you are carrying something too heavy, just STOP, and ask the Lord for help. God is strong enough to carry any burden, just let him help you! Sometimes we feel that we can do everything by our own, but the truth is that we are dust and miserables without God.
''God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble [James 4-6]'' - Bible

Our Lord Jesus taught us a lesson that we should never forget; humbleness. Can you imagine Jesus here on Earth being God but still He was a humble man. Even though He was a king, He came to Earth as a servant. In fact, He said that whoever wants authority should serve other. That shows us the importance of being humble. God says in the Bible that whoever exalts himself will be humbled and who humbles himself will be exalted. We can prove this by just studying Jesus' life-style. Jesus was a carpenter's son, He lived as an ordinary person, He really didn't have much money, but  He walked in a spiritual atmosphere. When He was taken to die, they spitted Him at His face, soldiers spanked Him, they nailed Him on a cross and people placed a Spine crown on His head. Don't you think He was brave enough but also humble because He was already a King, but He came here to Earth to give us Hope and Salvation! After passing through all these, He was declared the Lord of lords and King of kings. God exalted Him because He was humble until death! We humans tend to be proud and think that we can do all things because we are smart enough or strong enough. When a person thinks that he/she doesn't need God in His life then that person have the risk of failing in life. We should all look for humbleness. The enemy wants for you to believe that people should praise you and exalt you because that is what he had always wanted for himself. God sent him out of Heaven because he was seeking for people to praise him; he was not humble. If you have good grades, try to keep it as a secret, that way, you don't risk of having "ego" and save yourself of thinking you are better than your classmates. If you received an award, give the Glory to the Lord because HE is the one who deserves every award. Don't ever think you  can do things because of who you are, because we do things because of who He is. Remember, if you want to have authority or a high place then you should start by serving others! Lets follow Jesus' example; He is the best example we can actually follow. Be brave!

Blessed are the meek

QUESTION OF THE DAY: What is Humbleness for you?

I bet you are all having a great day! Remember, YOU are the one who makes this day a better day. I want to bless you and declare that the rest of this week will be full of blessings and happiness.
May you all be Safe&Sound.

The Unknown Future

Latarasumi (Means "hello" in Faddy's Language)

Every day that you wake up there is this feeling surrounding your mind making you wonder how is the day going to be. We all humans tend to ask how is the future going to be, which is why there are many witches around the world trying to steal your money by giving you "false predictions". I must say that thinking of what is going to come is not really important because you are in a world where you live a  day-by-day life, you can't travel in time as God does. Although, you can have an idea of where are you going to be, what is it that you want to study and where do you want to study , or to whom you want to get marry. All of these ideas can pass through mind and that's normal. But our life shouldn't depend of what is going to happen but of what is happening. When you think that what is coming is more important than what is actually happening, then you are losing the privilege and the precious moments the present gives you.

Heaven

I want to share with you an experience I had about 1 year ago. I always had the desire of going to a foreign country (especially Japan), and the way I thought my dream was going to accomplish was through a scholarship. I remember that I was literally looking for scholarships everywhere! I had this emotion that was making me see myself in the airport saying "goodbye". All my conversations were about this International Program that offered me the opportunity of going to Japan if I  was to score a high note in the SAT. I didn't enjoy that much time with my friends because I was just thinking of this scholarship. But then the Lord spoke to me and made me realize the importance of living the present and just placing everything in His Hands. I truly  believed in Him so I placed that "dream" in His Hands because I knew He simply knows best. When I didn't have it anymore, I felt literally free. I felt peace in my heart because I knew and now I know that God is taking control of everything that is going to happen in the future. I learned to have priorities in life. If you can do something TODAY, DO IT! Don't leave that for tomorrow because we never know if tomorrow will actually exist. Enjoy every second, I don't mean that you are going to "party" all of your life, but what I really mean is that you should take advantage of the time and act wisely. If you any dream, that's O.K. Build a path that will take you to your dream. Time will pass and all the pieces of your puzzle will be connected and you will surely know that God made everything possible. I must say that I'm not waiting anymore for a reply from the International Program, I'm not even thinking of taking the SAT (maybe I will but surely not now). I'm just enjoying the time and the life God gave me, my family and my friends. What I'm thinking right now is to enjoy my Senior Year, to make it unforgettable. God has your future in His Hands and we have the warranty that our future is going to be a great one:

God's thank-you

Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: Can you tell me a dream you have for the future?

I bet you are all having a great day. Remember that your future is going to happen someday, meanwhile care about what is happening today. I bless you all in Jesus' name.

"Keep Moving Forward"

Bonjour

I must say last week was a tough week because we had tests. I found out that when you don't stress out but you simply put everything in God's hands, you do well in everything. I had 11 Tests in total! I must say that you should also study a bit just to refresh your mind because basically what is coming on the test are topics that you have already study in class. Pay attention in class! If there is something unclear that you really don't understand then you should look for help. REMEMBER: YOU are the one who wants to pass; not the teacher. Give your best! Don't do things in a hurry because most of the time they will end up being messy and wrong. Classwork and Homework are quite important because in these assignments is where you practice for your test. The Holy Spirit is the best teacher ever, you can freely go and ask Him for help if you have any problem in any class or subject. Trust in Him!
No matter what happens in life ... if you will learn to let it go and move forward, then your past doesnt have to poison your future

Yesterday I watched a movie which I think most of you have seen already, and that movie is "Meet the Robinsons". I had a relaxing time with my little sister while watching this movie and I noticed how often they repeated the phrase "Keep Moving Forward". This made me think about the importance of giving a step from where you are. It can be applied to your relationship with God, to your academic records, to your relationship with your  parents, to your job, to your talent and to every single thing can be improved. I believe that God wants for us to be closer to Him, I also believe that if you put all your effort and really try to get good grades then you will acquire them. It is all about attitude. If you are stuck in the past you will never try to afford something that is in the future. You have to tell your mind and your heart that you can do everything with Jesus that is in you. When someone's mind is full of ideas and projects, you can tell that person wants to move forward and keep walking towards the front; not towards the back. Sometimes the devil wants for you to think that "you can't" and throws you darts in your life just for you to believe that "it is over". The truth is that you have the Holy Spirit in you, and whatever the devil tried to do in your life, that can't stop you IF you are clung to Jesus.  "Keep Moving Forward" means: Improve your actual status and take a step because the other step will follow the step you took before. Our Lord Jesus kept moving forward in his entire life, even when He was carrying the cross and people were screaming at Him, soldiers were spanking Him; He didn't  stop. Because of His desire of moving forward we all have the option to choose either eternal life or eternal death. As you can see, moving forward can affect not just you but people that surrounds you can also be affected.  This is the type of things that you must have in your heart in order to "Change the World". If you had bad grades in this bimester, then do better in the next one. If you got good grades, then keep on doing your best and get even better grades that the one you already have. If you pray every day to God, then keep on moving forward and pray even more. Don't look behind, because what is there, you can't bring it back. Enjoy every single moment of your life.
Fall down seven times, get up eight

QUESTION OF THE DAY: What area of your life do you think you should move forward?

Give the best you can. Honor God before honoring some else. I hope you all doing well. Enjoy time with your family and love God. I bless you all in the name of Jesus!
